Bhutan: Land of The Thunder Dragon
So Bhutan is a tiny Buddhist country nestled in the eastern Himalayas. The kingdom is landlocked between the two great Asian civilizations, Tibet (China) to the north and India (Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim & West Bengal to be precise) in the East, West, & South. It is a very tiny country with a total area of 38,394 km². The population of Bhutan is pretty low at about 800,000.
Bhutan claims to be the "Happiest Country In The World ", and that's true! The people of Bhutan are very humble. They are very passionate about their country and are always ready to help you. Bhutan is a constitutional monarchy, which means they have a king. The current ruler is Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, the 5th Druk Gyalpo. The people of Bhutan love and respect their king very much. You'll See his portrait hanged in every house, restaurant, etc.

Overall Bhutan is an incredible country that has preserved its culture very well. It is a great country for a nature getaway. With not much tourism, you won't find mass crowds spoiling your vacation.
